Really good atmosphere , food was delicious , really would recommend , didn’t get there name but our waitress was really lovely and was happy to help . They had a good selection of drinks also . Will deffo be coming back !

Good food and atmosphere, and live music , we had a great evening celebrating my sister in laws birthday, and good service considering there was twenty one of us to cater for , and another plus was that there's a multi storey car park a very short walk around the corner!

The interior is beautiful and unique. I had some chunky chips and their signature hanging chicken. The food tasted great however, I go mushroom on the skewers and there was no mention of mushrooms on the food I selected.

Food is good, nothing to get too excited by but enjoyable. The inexperienced staff let it down. Three times we were brought the wrong bottle of wine. We also received the wrong quantity of desserts and further incorrect drinks orders. Amendments were made to the bill which was a nice gesture but I’d rather just have good service.
The live music was great and there is a good atmosphere. If the staff can be trained properly, this would be a great place.

We came here for a big group booking this evening, WOW 1000% would recommend, amazing staff (especially Abby-needs a pay rise!!) would absolutely come back as would all 20 of us!.

Luckily called in on their Opening Day and got food at half price!
Also a "gift" in the bill - when opened it was a free meal for 2! - what a great day!

Went for valentines but they ran out of all the food we ordered and we ended up having to re-order and wait and hour to eat.

My girlfriend and I decided to book a table at The Botanist for the early evening on Valentine's Day (16:30-18:00). Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated quickly, and liked the decor. The waiting staff however did not properly explain the Valentine's Day set menu, and when we asked, the staff did not explain clearly and seemed confused themselves. Additionally, we were not asked whether we had any allergies or dietary requirements. Furthermore, the atmosphere was not expected and did not match the appeal, as music was too loud. When the food arrived, we enjoyed the starter (Meze Board), and the overall prevention. However, when the main arrived it was not hot. The vegan hanging kebab was disappointing, as the meat wasn't anything special and the veg was not cooked. We did enjoy the cocktails however. Overall, we had an okay experience, but expected more from the food and service.

Wonderful place, decor fabulous, atmosphere electric, staff sensational. Didn't have any food this time, but we will definitely have some food next time. We just went in for drinks this time. There is also live music on if you go on a Saturday night, which was very nice. The one thing i really liked is we could all have a chat. They had music on in the background, but we could all hear each other speaking, which is a good thing when you're out with your friends. Thank you, The Botanist, see you soon.

Hey How about paying back people on time? Made me work 2 busiest days in December and then telling me that RTW didn’t go through! I’ve been mailing and texting the manager for the past month, but still no clue if I’ll ever get the money.

Waited half an hour to order our drinks and food and this would’ve been longer as we had to get up and find a worker as waitresses walked past us and ignored the table despite us being one of the only tables there on a very dead evening

It's not my thing, I was invited to a birthday dinner, sadly the starter wasn't cooked, tasted and looked raw. Only tried a little piece. The main course wasn't wow, I think it's a place for the students to feel like their going somewhere special. I wasn't the only one who had comments about the food. What I will say is someone put effort into the decor.
